Humanitarian award
On the 12th of November 2011 NEWLIVES received a humanitarian award for our dedicated work with coaching, empowerment and guidance of women from prostitution and women who are victims of trafficking. People4People awards recognize and reward those who make innovative and inspiring humanitarian work in the community.
We accepted this award with great pride and gratitude.
As we did our thanking speech NEWLIVES said to the audience: "Don´t forget her .... when the lights of this arrangement are turned off. For she (the prostitute/the victim of trafficking) is still out there on the dark street or she sits alone at the brothel while the rest of us go home and feel comfortable after this arrangement"
